ready

Ok. I can't say it's age, because I'm not exactly old...but this pregnancy thing sure gets harder each time. Well, a couple of weeks ago, Brad and I were sitting in the movie theater and I had some pretty hard contractions, but we waited and they went away. It's been pretty quite since then, and I started dialating a couple weeks ago, but nothing since. I'm 37 weeks and I go in again on Fri. Here some pics from last week.

Instead of napping...

Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm pretty nazi about my kids napping. This time however, I gave up the battle, and I could hear him in there playing. Suddenly there was a jumping sound followed by immediate crying. I was so mad that Wes wasn't napping I didn't jump up to see what the problem was. When he realized I wasn't coming in there, he came out and showed me his lip. He said he was jumping on his bed and fell. Upon investigation, I found he had actually bitten thru his lip. The top horizontal cut is where the teeth went thru, and everything on the bottom must be where he hit the bed. So I called the doctor and they said that they wouldn't stitch anything in the mouth, and if the outside stopped bleeding within 15 min. he would be fine without stitches. We waited and fortunately it did stop bleeding, but he had the biggest canker for a week or so. All I can say is "Boys."

Too cute.

I know it's a little bias, however, isn't he the cutest? One of Miles favorite past times is trying on one of dads millions of hats. He happened to grab one that matched this time so I pulled the camera out. presh.

House update

Slowly but surely we are getting settled in. Brad has been working really hard, (with little brakes

here and there) to get things done. We have about half of the trim up now, and all doors and hardware on.
I've been working on decorating, but it's slow going when funds are limited. Lately I've been working
on Wes's new room downstairs, trying to get him excited about giving up his blue room to Miles. I'll
post pics as soon as it's done.

Christmas

I know I'm a little behind, but we got a new computer and I just figured out how to download pics. So....here we have christmas morning! We had it at our house this year since we are the only ones with kids, it made a little more sense. It was really fun to have everyone here all day. After gifts we went sledding and snowmobiling all day, and yes, the girls even got to go! Imagine that, we didn't have to stay inside and watch kids! In fact, there was so much snow that we had to go to the bottom of our subdivision with 4wheel drive to bring some of our guests!

Wes and Miles had a blast opening their gifts, in fact, Wes got so excited, he ended up climbing into one of the gifts.

Christmas tree

We decided to be really traditional this year and go up to the mountains and chop down our very own christmas tree. So we loaded the boys and hiked up a little ways till we found...not the perfect one, but a good christmas tree. Brad and Wes chopped it down we brought it home. Since we chopped our own tree down we were able to get a pretty big one, I think it's something like 15 feet tall, so we had a heck of a time decorating it, but it was fun.

What sex?

So I guess I haven't posted what were having.....but if your reading this I've probably talked to you lately, so you probably already know that were having a girl. Anyways, for those that don't know......Its a girl! I must admit, when I first found out I had massive anxiety, and I still do a little bit, but I just figure....what can you do. My boys are just so not high maintenance, and I have the feeling that if I get a girl, and she's whiney, I'll just be so insensitive. I'm sure I wont be, but whatever. I would have been o.k. to have all boys, but Heavenly Father knows I need some lessons that only a girl could teach! It'll be fun. I am 26 weeks now and doing pretty good.
