Panama

We're driving home from Boise last weekend when my travel loving bro-in-law calls up and tells my equally travel loving husband about these amazingly cheep plane tickets he found online.
"uh oh."
O yeah. and the departure date would be in two weeks.
"what!"
The thing is...I really wanna go too. But....like you moms who are reading this...I'm thinking...."no way."
Well. yes way. We bought the tickets two nights ago, and I've been in constant anxiety attack ever since. So we're not taking Belle. So in the next two weeks I've got to get her to take formula. Often times easier said than done.

I have to say a special thanks to those who always are watching our kids for free for us...if it weren't for you guys, we would never have gone anywhere. I think you'll be glad to hear that we are actually going to pay someone to watch our kids this time. (ughh) Well, some of the time. I'll share some of my more agonizing over the next few days.

Butterfly

We were out finishing planting our carrots, onions, and everyones favorite....squash. O.K. so I'm the only one that eats that, but anyways, Westley found a butterfly. I don't think the thing survived more than ten minutes, but Wes found a toy for a good half an hour. Miles wouldn't have anything to do with it since it flapped around every time he came close. I thought when it stopped moving that Wes would be upset...nope. He threw it as hard as he could and moved on to the next bug victim. Maybe my girl will be a little more compassionate with the little creatures she finds.

Mothers Day

What did you all get for your mothers? One of my downfalls is that I've never been a good gift giver. I mean... I love to give gifts, but I'm just not very good at thinking of something thoughtful. My mom, my sister, and my sisters-in-law are all very good at giving creative gifts. Anyways. So for mothers day we decided to give pictures. Lame? I don't know. Well, For my mother-in-law, we took pictures of all "the boys," since she hadn't had one taken since before Brads mission, and for my mom, Tiffany, (my sister) and I took some pics. I still am not great with my camera settings, but heres what we got.

newest addition

I'm so excited to be able to write about the soon-to-be newest addition to the extended Christensen family. My mother-in-law threw a bridal shower for my soon to be sister-in-law. Sheldon (Brads younger brother) and Shae are getting married next weekend.

At the Shower we played a couple of games that resulted in Shae having a mouth full of bubblicious bubble gum, and a couple of Ahhhs from the crowd after hearing Sheldons tender feelings of love expressed on video. O the days of fresh love........ don't you wish you could go back to those butterflies in the tummy and love struck moments? Like when Bella and Edward were in the meadow for the first time? hahahahah ......sorry guys, told you I have a problem.

Out of control!

O.K. I have a major problem. So about a month ago my sister started trying to get me to read the "twilight" series. It's not that I didn't want to read them, I just didn't have time. Well I finally gave in so that she would stop calling every other day asking "have you started it yet?"
I read all three in 6 days. I have dreamt about the dang book almost every night since then, and I judge all of Brads comments on wether or not "Edward" would have said that. OUT OF CONTROL! Ask my husband. Brad calls that type of reading "girl porn." Not in the sense of naked dudes, but in the sense of setting "unrealistic expectations." I can't really say he's wrong either. Who doesn't want their cheek bones caressed every time you see your husband... like it's been the first time you've seen each other in years?! Who doesn't want to be want to be somebody's type of heroine? AGHHHHH! And then theres Jacob. Can you see my obsession? Somebody please help.

Cousins

During the same photo shoot, we got some of the two youngest cousins together. It was really tough getting both of them to look at the same time, in fact, I think I took like 20 pics and only two came out useable. Belle is 3 1/2 weeks older than her cousin Zach. It's been really fun to have another little baby on Brads side of the family. You can certainly tell little Zach is a Christensen, he looks just like his dad!

My little doll

As you can see I really have fun with my camera, I'm certainly no professional, but it's nice to be able to take some better pictures. My sister-in-law and I played a little dress up with Belle and her little boy. You can really see in these pics how blue Belles eyes are, I really think I finally got my little Brad...ette?

Uh Oh!

This has been such a new experience to have a little girl around. So much paraphanalia. I finally got a little bucket to put all the little bows and bracelets in.... but Miles found it. OK, so I maybe helped a little here.....but it was to cute! I couldn't help myself. (much to Brads dismay). Miles was content to walk around like this, even though the headband is scrunching his forehead down.

A few pics of the new decorations. The tree and the armoir are new in here.
Not to much new in here. I do plan on getting an area rug for under the table though...
Everything you see here is new. This wall is so big, It really has made all the difference to have some warmth added here. yeah.

A day in the life...

Brad decided that his life wasn't busy enough....so he decided to buy a dirt bike. Well, being the wonderful wife that I am, I agreed that that could be a good idea. IF.........I got to spend just as much in decorating our very bare house.

So After a trip to Tai pan and Palmers in Salt Lake, and a few visits to a place called Real deals, our house looks a lot more homier. These are just a couple of pics of the boys playing in one of the trunks that I bought.

Belle

My sweet little girl.....is not so sweet...during the day. She has done better than my other kids at night, which is really all that counts, but she just cries during the day if she's not being held. typical girl right? I'm really excited because I think I might have finally gotten my blue eyed kid. Her eyes are the same sky blue as her dads. I'm excited to see if they stay that way.

Almost Spring

I took these a couple of weeks ago....when it was supposed to be warm. The boys were having cabin fever so despite the wind...they went outside and played in the dirt. I think we were all deceived because the sun was shining, but by the snot running down both of their noses, I think you can tell temperatures were probably no higher than 35 degrees. When I came out and saw Westley's dirtstach I had to take a picture.
