School time

I have found myself having a mix of emotions about this day. Actually, all up until this morning when I pulled up to Miss Becky's house, I was pretty excited. I mean, This is preschool were talking about. This isn't even bus worthy, but it marks yet another milestone in my parenthood. But when I saw the other moms walking their little ones to the door I did have to fight back the tears. (I decided to put him in the three year old class even though he will be four next month in hopes of better compliance and also later on down the road I think it will be beneficial for him to be older and bigger in grades to come.)

I traditionally took some 1st day photos, and Wes took the opportunity to give me a few poses,(which he never does) so heres him being silly.

Wes has been so excited to go to preschool, and he made his momma proud. He was so curtious when we arrived, and although a little early to announce victory...stayed in his seat when he was told. He even went up to one of the shyer boys and said "Hi! my names Westley, whats yours?" He shared with me his hopes of this other boy becoming his friend. I'm so proud of my little dude, and I know he'll do great.

His poses are so cute. He's such a handsome little boy, but I guess he's not little anymore.
